About this website

I wish I was knowledgeable enough with HTML to give a really cool, geocities-inspired aesthetic to this website, but right now it just looks like this. Also, no javascript! Only pure, raw text is allowed! Mwahahahah!

Ahem anyway, I created this website as a way put myself out there in some way. I know that my audience is really small, maybe even non-existent, but I still do it with the hope that someone, some day, will stumble upon this corner of the internet, and take away something positive that will help them in some way. Even if that never happens, I’d still do it, for myself. Maintaining a website is honestly really fun (if you can deal with bullshit from both HTML and Hugo…), and I hope to keep it up for as long as possible.

In my blog, I mostly talk about human and people stuff. I wouldn’t call myself a humanities person, but after having started therapy, learning about all kinds of sociological and psychological phenomena has helped me not only understand myself better, but also understand other people and society better.

Sometimes I talk about tech-related things, too, but nothing too fancy. My interest in computers and programming is merely a hobby of mine, nothing serious.

First, a few observations:

  1. I can comfortably speak Brazilian Portuguese and (US-flavored) English;
  2. Sometimes I have difficulties understanding social cues, especially through text. Use tone indicators when possible, thank you.
